Our Story
At Kindred Spirit Brewing, it’s all about beer and people. What started as a small group of friends has grown into a circle that includes our dedicated staff, loyal customers, and the greater Goochland community. We love brewing beer, but our true passion lies in building a vibrant and welcoming community. We recognize that our customers are the heart of our brewery, and we invite everyone to come see what we’re all about and join their neighborhood.

Down time: At the Rivah on a boat catching limit during rockfish season…or gardening oysters.
Dream vacation: Wherever Heather answers, but if she left this blank…Ireland, because it’s awesome and makes Ross jealous!! But he may be there with me as part of this question and that is great. Cheers!

Down time: On one of the many disc golf courses around town #AllGoldDiscGolf.
Dream vacation: I would go back to Monaco for the most iconic Formula 1 race on the circuit…also wine, cheese and prosciutto.

Favorite beers: Headspace is the answer, but I do like some Cinco on a hot beach day, and Strawberry Milkshake when I’m in the mood for sweet.
Why KSB? Besides the amazing beer? The amazing family-like camaraderie between the KSB team and our regular customers.
Down time: Checking out other breweries, wineries, cideries and distilleries; sleeping; reading; guitar noodling; and more sleeping.
Dream vacation: A tie between the Caribbean Islands and Iceland (a little hot, a little cold).

Do you serve food?
Yes. Kindred Kitchen food truck is on-site Wednesday – Sunday.
Hours – Wednesday & Thursday 5-8pm, Friday 4-8pm, Saturday 1-8pm, Sunday 1-6pm.
Can I book a private event?
Yes of course! Different spaces are available depending on the event you want to organize, please check the Event page.
Can I buy your beers to-go?
Yes. Different sizes are available (cans, crowler, growler, keg) please check our Shop page.
Can I bring my dog to the Taproom?
Yes, quiet and well behaved dogs are welcome on a leash. Ask our staff for a pale of water so your best friend can hydrate too!
Can I buy kegs directly from the brewery?
Yes. See a beertender.
Are gluten-free options available?
Yes. We strive to maintain a gluten-free hard seltzer on tap at all times.
